Steven Svoboda on seXtvOn July 15, 2006, Steven appeared along with Marilyn Milos of NOCIRC on a special program about circumcision broadcast by Toronto’s Sex TV Channel (www.sextelevision.net), a division of City TV. Interviewer Michelle Melles was quite sympathetic and knowledgeable and put together an excellent program.

Good news from Colorado, where intactivists led by Craig Garrett and Gillian Longley were successful at stopping a legislative attempt to restore Medicaid funding for circumcision in that state. We will have a full report with photos in our next newsletter, due out next month.

Finnish Legislator Calls for Criminalizing Male Circumcision, Launches Government Inquiry

A Finnish Member of Parliament has proposed criminalizing male circumcision in Finland and has launched a formal government inquiry into including boys as well as girls in protection from genital cutting.
